What Drives Me..
I've built my career on a single instinct: dropping into an unfamiliar system, learning how it really works from the ground up, and finding the value that everyone else has walked past. I've done it entering an industry I knew nothing about and out-performing from a standing start. I've done it building a company from zero, and I've done it sitting across from founders, reading for the signal that a pitch deck can't show. Different rooms, same skill.
I believe the people who create lasting impact aren't the ones with the most credentials or the deepest technical knowledge — they're the ones curious enough to understand a problem fully, and bold enough to build the fix before they've been told they're allowed to. That's how I work. I'd rather learn the ground floor of a business than theorize from above it, because the answers that actually move the needle live in the details most people skip.
What I care about most is leaving things stronger than I found them — teams that keep improving after I've moved on, tools that keep working, people who walk away more capable than before. I've taught first-time founders how to build and sell, mentored students taking their first real risk, and I write publicly to think out loud about where all of this is heading. The through-line is always the same: find where the potential is hiding, and help release it.

From volunteering at food and donation shelters to my transformative work in Kenya, I’ve seen firsthand how sharing knowledge and providing resources can spark real, lasting change. In Kenya, I had the privilege of teaching women crucial business skills—negotiating prices, defining their unique selling points, and acquiring new skills they could carry with them. It wasn’t just about giving tools; it was about instilling confidence and creating a foundation they could continue to build on long after our time together.
This belief in empowerment is at the heart of everything I do. I didn’t follow the traditional path in my career, because I wanted to create a foundation of my own—one that allows me to continuously improve, adapt, and pivot when needed. I’ve crafted my own approach to consulting and business that’s both flexible and grounded in real-world experience. I’m not just about offering solutions; I’m about fostering growth that’s sustainable and tailored to each unique challenge.
